Space Siege

Space Siege é um jogo de RPG e ação, desenvolvido pela mesma equipe que trabalhou na série Dungeon Siege. O jogo se utiliza de alguns princípios de Dungeon Siege, tornando-os mais acessíveis para novos jogadores do gênero e adaptando-os para o contexto de ficção científica.

Space Siege se passa no futuro, quando os humanos já habitam outros planetas no sistema solar. A Terra sofre o ataque da raça rival Kerak e o jogador assume o papel do soldado Seth Walker, protegendo a tripulação que está em uma das naves que fogem do planeta ameaçado.
O jogador pode evoluir, utilizando-se da tecnologia cibernética, o que lhe confere melhores habilidades em combate, mas deixa-o cada vez menos humano com o passar do tempo. Há também a possibilidade de se completar a campanha sem recorrer a essa tecnologia, o que torna a dificuldade maior, em alguns pontos, mas desbloqueia uma recompensa especial no final do jogo.
O jogo oferece uma campanha singlepalyer, que dura cerca de 15 a 20 horas, além de um multiplayer com suporte para quatro jogadores em conexão local ou online, apenas no modo cooperativo.
