Earache Extreme Metal Racing

Earache Extreme Metal Racing é um título de corrida com traços do clássico de 1993 para o Super Nintendo, Rock and Roll Racing. Esse título marcou uma geração inteira ao propiciar corridas com veículos dotados de armas embalados junto a uma trilha sonora que é puro Rock: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath e Steppenwolf entre outros ícones desse estilo musical.

Metal Racing contém 10 personagens malignos dotados de ânsia por destruição veicular e apreciadores de energia sonora de guitarras elétricas distorcidas, baixos profundos e baterias avassaladoras. Os dois modos principais consistem em corridas e batalhas na arena. Em ambos os casos os pilotos desse automóveis possuem guitarras para esmagar os inimigos, espinhos na carcaça e demais instrumentos capazes de explodir qualquer adversário por perto.

Nas corridas existem saltos por rampas e coleta de itens que dão bônus e benefícios. Os cenário são sombrios e estão sempre nos arredores de cemitérios e igrejas. A trilha sonora é licenciada de várias bandas da gravadora Earache Records, tais como: Napalm Death, At the Gates, Morbid Angel, Municipal Waste e Cathedral, grupos bastante conhecidos no cenário do metal extremo.
